Back from lunch at the in-laws. Enjoying some PH Golden Sliced in the Baraccini blasted bent Pot. Our oldest said we could take the carpet out of his room. The guy that put it in did a 1/4 assed job. After this bowl I'll be pulling staples and scraping glue.

So many lovely pipes to be seen here. It exacerbates my PADS. So too the talk of so many blends I've yet to try, does the same to my TADS. I now have stuffed some MacBaren's Old Dark Fired into the Blakemar Briars King's Imperial rusticated black bulldog. A new pipe I'm breaking in. With plenty of strong coffee at hand.

Smoking partial bowls to break-in the bulldog, they don't last very long. I also dump them out at the first hint of briar burning. It's now looking like I can smoke full bowlfuls in it now. I'm now stuffing some C&D Cordial into the 1949 Dunghill Shell Briar straight pot.

On "vacation"...if you can call a week of family nuptials, etc, a "vacation". I've had some good smokes, though, trying a few things for the first time. Had MacBaren Golden Extra for the first time...loved it! Also had some Borkum Riff Original, and found that I didn't hate it. Also tried Captain Black Original, and really enjoyed it. Now I'm on the balcony with said Captain Black Original burning in a rusticated Savinelli Bing's Favorite, black coffee on the side. Happy Sunday pipes, all! Trust everyone's in good health and enjoying yer smokes!
