Had a pretty good tobacco day yesterday. I started with Five Brothers, which was great. I think I need to base my mornings with it. Every smoke after that did what it was intended to do... be enjoyable

Afternoon all.
Seems I've some sort of sinus irritation. Not sure if it's a cold or something else, but I have laid off the smoking most of the day.
Even with my lack of interest in it, I have a tub of PA sitting up in the closet. I decided to load a bowl this morning knowing it was light. I actually enjoyed it. Amazing that I surprise myself sometime. Going to load another bowl now and figure out supper.

Part way through this bowl of year 2002 Wessex Sovereign Curly Cut in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Have enough left for four or five bowls. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

Earlier, I smoked McClelland Beacon in a Peterson Aran billiard. I purchased a MM corncob Legend today, and now smoking it with RO Series Acadian VaPer. I had forgotten how well corncobs smoke. This blend is beginning to shine and I've developed a taste for 'Acadian Bright'.

Back from Questa NM and "The Wildcat's Den", home of decent old fashioned Double Cheeseburgers. Now digesting with a bowl of Newminster Superior Navy Flake in a Don Roberto Lancelot Canadian.
What makes a Cheeseburger "Old Fashioned", you might ask?
1. Ground beef patties that actually taste like beef and not recycled cardboard.
2. Cheese which is identifiable and arrives MELTED.
3. A bun which holds up all the way to the last bite.
4. A slice of tomato which remains identifiable as such,
5. A plethora of onions.
I do not ask for much from this world but there are standards.

That's where McD went wrong with the McDLT. They kept the hot foods hot and the cold foods cold, but didn't realize most people wanted their cheese on the hot side. I ordered one of them. One

Ham and Cheese sandwich with a bowl of Sam Gawith Black Forest?? I know that you like tobacco, but that seems somewhat extreme!
