Relaxing after a great ham and cheese sandwich with a bowl of Sam Gawith Black Forest in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic stem. Ham and Cheese sandwich with a bowl of Sam Gawith Black Forest?? I know that you like tobacco, but that seems somewhat extreme! I had the smoke after I ate the sandwich, you big dummy!

Just had a bowl of C&D Burley Flake #1 in a Leonessa Briosa slight bent rusticated apple. I've had very light nicotine the past two weeks getting over sinus crud and head all stopped up, am finally starting to be able to taste tobaccos, and boy, it's good. The Burley #1 Flake seemed pretty high in nicotine so I can easily tell my tolerance dropped quite a bit. Will be slowly getting back up to several pipes a day and ramping back up. Getting so many toasty, tangy, nutty, cigar-like sour notes in the Burley #1 and it's incredibly tasty after having a few months open in the tin. A blend to very lightly sip on, but C&D really know burley. This is absolutely a cellar fairly heavy blend, IMO.

Having some of the mix I did with Perique the other day. I think I'm gonna call it Unfinished. It's like an incomplete thought.

I had a bowl of April Dawn this morning in a Don Warren morta bent pot with coffee on the side. This blend basically sucks. Can't taste the topping at all, and the tobacco isn't much better.

I normally don't do an afterthought on a bowl, but this was a fairly deep bowl and the Five Brothers only needed one light. It burnt down to a fine ash with a little help from the tamper. I normally don't get that lucky. So, let's say I am pleasantly amazed
