Still digging away at this drying tin of Edward G Robinson with my new Savinelli as the shovel. Watched a few episodes of Mad Men. I feel like way more pipe smoking should be seen in the show. Werent the early sixties kind of a Golden age for pipes?

Werent the early sixties kind of a Golden age for pipes? Probably more of a Renaissance. Tin of EGR? You don't have the Official Jim Inks signed edition tub?

A beautiful Nevada Blue Sky day. A wonderful relaxing smoke, sitting in the back yard, in shorts and no shoes, toes in the grass. Fantastic fall weather. Little dog with me of course, eager to chase the ball through the leaves. And, when an aromatic tobacco works, it works! Today I enjoyed MM Great Dane tobacco in an MM Mark Twain cob. A great combination, very nice, enjoyable smoke.

Now smoking Peretti DD in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted Comoy's Silver Cloud 624 sitter with a silver pearl gray acrylic stem. Molly sez "The heck with the game. Love on me, pop!" I'm managing to do both right now, silly little cat.

I ordered a box of Saison Toro by Oliva from P & C. the had a deal you buy a box of Oliva cigars and you get a 10 pack Oliva sampler. those showed up today. I smoked a little Serie O that appeared to be box pressed. it was pretty good and had a medium draw. then I had some OGS. trying to figure out what beer to drink and what tobacco to smoke from which pipe.
