Rains are out of here and a cold front is inching its way to my neck of the woods. First bowl of this soon to be temperate day is Vintage Syrian in the Charatan's Make Special Billiard 4420X (1961-1965).

Good morning. I'm not happy. It's raining and supposed to get worse. I smoke outdoors because my neighbors are of the mindset that smoking is some horrific evil, akin to terrorism.
I just finished a bowl of Peretti D-9507 in 'Dad's' Urbino, a sandblasted bent billiard with an acrylic stem.

Now smoking RO Perique Series Blend P-37 in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Have enough left for one more bowl. A bottle of Boylan's Root Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching Blood and Sand not for the stars, but to see an early film appearance by George "Superman" Reeves. Suzy and Molly are snoozing.

70's Heine's in an Orange Kaywoodie Canted Squat Bulldoggie Viscount beater. First go at this old Heine since my taste buds came back on line and are now my Taste Buddies. Very smooth tobacco.
