That's a funny word..It took me a while to get the correct spelling..Yesterday I went to a pharmacy to get a Flu shot. The lady said that since I've had one Pneumonia shot if I get another one I won't ever have to get another one.I got it and a flue shot. The good news is I won't have to get another one,and insurance paid for it.The bad news is the shots didn't hurt but my arm was pretty sore last night. It's a good bit better today..I just wonder if these ladies are trained to smile while they inflect pain.

, check with your doctor because there is a booster shot that you may need 5 years after the initial shot. I had pneumonia twice before I got the sot. I also got the booster shot 5 years later.

50% of the people who responded to the thread " what caused your GBS/CIDP?" ( the auto immune disease I have which killed 95% of the nerves in my arms and legs) got their disease within several weeks after getting a flu shot. That's 16 out of 32 people who responded. Two others got theirs after getting a tetanus booster shot. When your body gets injected with something that is not supposed to be there, shite can go haywire, just ask those 18 people whose lives were permanently changed. My local representative for the disease I have just got a settlement from the National Vaccine Compensation Fund after getting his GBS from a flu shot. Yes, there is a national fund for flu shot victims.

Wow. Sorry, Marty. I hope you got what compensation you deserve, though I'm sure it is hard to affix a dollar amount to something that terrible.
