When this first was released or re-released, I was far from impressed. The samples that I had at the Chicago Pipe Show were a ribbon cut and far from the Edgeworth of old.
I read Jim's review and he mentioned that he noticed a change in more recent release. I'm curious from others that have smoked the more recent batches... how would you describe the current cut of this? Is it more of a cube/crumb cut similar to the original?

It's short ribbon pieces with a little width. For some reason, companies call this a cube cut. It isn't in my book.

If I were still in printing I would call it square cut. It's not 3D

So, not much different than what I recall when it came out again.

So, not much different than what I recall when it came out again. Not much, but I liked the flavor of the last sample I had better.

Another vote for Sutliff Ready Rubbed Match. Between the taste and bulk price, it has left the Lane progenitor in the dust.
