A modification that i have made some years ago that's why the photos and the video aren't so good. I bought a gourd calabash bowl year 1907 and i have done some modifications plus new stem, new tenon, new meerschaum insert. He came to me like this: I worked hard in many sectors and now looks like this: You can see the procedure step by step here: pipe-smoke.blogspot.gr/2010/02/gourd-calabash.htmlThe code for this pipe is Gourd-1or you can watch it in a video with slide show photos and instrumental music: Ladies & Gentlemen thank you for watching!

Beautiful job and music, Sid. Question from an admirer of your pictures: What kind of beads are those you display? Beautiful also

Thank you all my dear friends for your kindly comments! david : The beads are not from an expensive material, they are acrylic chosen in purpose in some colours [for example i would never make a kompoloi with pink or greens beads] and in the dimensions plus the length and the thickness of the cord. I make my all my kompoloi as "customs" which means suited to my palm and show to the other people a part of my character.
