They almost have to. You can't put together 99$ with what they have in stock Usually the items that I want (or many of them) are back ordered. It does make it difficult to put an order together. If it works for you, you can take advantage of the lower sale prices, when the backordered stuff comes in, they will ship it on their dime. |

I don't care for spending my life on backorder. As I was about to place an order another in my cart went poof. Now, I have a 20% discount card on all items good this month. I got one tin less of what I wanted (because SPC doesn't carry it) and placed my order with SPC for about the same money. I've been doing mostly fine with P&C, but I've been waiting two months for Trout Stream? I'll find another tobacco. Ooooooops, I already have found one

I don't mind stuff being out of stock, but it would be good if their notification system actually worked. Well, maybe nothing that is out of stock ever gets back into stock?

it seems like things out of stock STAY out of stock. I signed up to be notified when hobby blocks came back in stock, and evidently those never did, they started stocking new ones or listed new ones under a new price or something because I was never notified they had any back in stock. I fine myself ordering at SP more often because of the out of stock issue. P&C is closer so I get my order faster, but hey, if they don't have it, I don't have a choice.

Trout Stream showed up as in stock a few hours after I posted it had been out for a long time. I only ordered 8 oz of it. I could not use my coupon, which requires 100$ to get the discount. Smart on their part by half. SP and Pipe Nook got a lot of business this week. Until the next SSI check comes in, how does stir fried burley sound?
