...any folks have experience with Carter Hall Match? I'm not sure if Sutliff or P&C makes this...on P&C's website it doesn't say...and its not on TR...the only reviews I found are on the P&C site itself.

After trying and disliking the so called "matches" for Carter Hall, I found an alternative. Peter Stokkebye Cube Cut fills that void nicely and it's 25% off right now.

Why would anyone need a match for Carter Hall? The real thing is already pretty cheap.

I won't help support RJ Reynolds ... anymore, that is.

Figured there had to be some reason. I suppose I'd switch too if there was a close alternative. I like to give the little guy my business anytime I can.

Have you tried H&H MidTown Chatham Manor? I have smoked a couple of tubs of this and enjoy it.
PS Cube Cut is A good Smoke, I keep some around for mixing and to smoke straight.
Another point $29.00 compared to $36.00.

P&C Makes Chatham Manor - Pretty good. Sutliff CH Match (imho) is a little better cut and I feel a little better, though not that noticeably.

Chatham Manor costs less than Carter Hall and is a better blend, even if it isn't a exact match. Here's my review of it:
The original Carter Hall is fairly nutty with some molasses, and a mild chocolate taste. Chatham Manor, which is a Match for CH, is a little more chocolatey, a little less nutty with about the same amount of molasses. I think there’s just a little more red Virginia in the CM. Both have the same toppings: light bourbon and cocoa. Both burn well and even with few relights, though CH needs a few more than CM does. Sometimes, there can be a cigarette note in CH when puffed too fast, as well as a chemical note. Neither is true of Chatham Manor. Both have a mild nic-hit. Overall, while a moderately close Match in some respects, Chatham Manor has a little richer, deeper, more consistent flavor that doesn’t weaken at the finish or leave any dottle. Often, Carter Hall will lose some flavor near the end, and if puffed very fast, could sport a harsh note or two. That doesn’t happen with this version as the taste is consistent from first light to last puff. I rated Carter Hall at three stars.

I think you mean Altria/Phillip Morris. Kinda sorta, the same difference...the rat bastards deserve to be treated like their product will induce oral leprosy.

I suspected their Mid-Town blends were made by Sutliff, but a couple of them have different cuts. Still could be made by Sutliff. Sweet Cask seems a totally different cut from Mid-Town to Sutliff Sugar Barrel
