As a few know, I have occasionally posted announcements when I've written a new blog. I recently decided to site-up a new blog site that is predominately about pipe smoking.
If you decide to visit it, At the moment will find mostly humorous takes on the pipe smoking lifestyle, some fishing stories and some just random topics. Warning, the random topics may occasionally contain thoughts which are best not discussed on The Briarpatch. In the near future, the blog will include a section on pipe tobacco reviews.

I especially enjoyed "How to Make Pipe Smoking More Socially Acceptable" As I read I found myself laughing while having the thought that we'd never be friends. Then my eyes happened back to the top of the page and I read the disclaimer. haha I'm glad I missed the disclaimer the first time- Satire is always more fun when it builds and builds until it reaches that point where it is suddenly obvious and it is as if the page is laughing at you for having taken it seriously. Well done, Pappy.

redwinekline - But we can be friends. I have learned over the years that some people on the internet jump to conclusions too fast and get hurt feelings when they shouldn't. That's why I put the disclaimer on that one.
