When I was a little fella (A very long time ago) I didn't get a lot of candy for Christmas. One of my very vest child hood memories though is going trick or treating on Halloween night and getting a bag of candy I usually got a bag full so it was my favorite time of the year. These days I love seeing the smile on kids faces when I drop candy in their bags.Sadly though where I live I don't get many kids trick or treating. In in the city I got a lot.One of the few things I miss about living there..I hope you're able to put a smile on a bunch of kids faces tonight. It will make you feel good.

I don't bother turning the light on. I'm in the city, but on a bad road for Trick or Treating.

I don't turn the light on either. Too many teenagers.

We had about 80 kids this year. Lots of kids in our development. I admit that I get a kick out of the little ones. One thing I noticed is that every child said "Thank you" when I put something in their bags. So, there is hope for the future.

My neighborhood has loads of kids. I think we had well over 150 come by last year. A couple of us setup out front with chairs, had some wine and handed candy out and shot the shite with the parents.
Was a fun time and most of the kids are polite and well behaved. Looking forward to this evening.

Yeah, we're buried way out in the woods, so no trick or treaters here either. So my wife and I just have our own little party. We get our Halloween pipes out, a little tobacco and some scotch. No tricks, just treats!
