My first pipe bowl today is yet another bowl of Spilman Mixture, this time in the Ropp smooth brown 42 bent billiard. One of the trove Ropps bought by smokingpipes some years ago.

Almost finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with real sugar is my drink.

Almost half way through this bowl of 2012 Louisiana Red in a 2003 medium bend Nording 4 rough top sitter with a small rusticated area at the top left and a black vulcanite stem.

It's pretty much a horserace with OGS, Zach, with PH seemingly just a tad smoother. Have learnt that anytime Orlik is out of stock, this is the way to go. I also like the long, wound strands and can now gauge exactly what is needed per bowl size.

Just finished smoking MacBaren Virginia Flake in a late '90s half smooth/half etched freehand sitter, medium bend Nielsen Viggo with a pearl brown acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

I just fired up a bowl of Samuel Gawith St. James Flake in a 1997 Dunhill Amber Root, bent bulldog with a diagonal repair band and Cumberland stem. This pipe was formally owned by my Dad.
