Home after a fun Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat, and happy not to be on the Group W bench. Have a quarter of a bowl left of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1984 medium bend black grain etched Savinelli Non Pareil 9310 poker with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem. Almost finished with this bottle of 7-Up.

My dinner was finally wonderful, albeit with a crappy bottle of wine we tried. It was so bad that Neil the St. Bernard wouldn't drink it. How many of you are old enough to remember that dog? Opened another label , it is grand. A good pinot noir does go well with my Sammy Gawith Balkan.

Now smoking 1990s VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite stem. Have enough left for a small bowl. Ice water and floaty li'l ice bergs who sing and dance is my evening drink.

I had a bowl of D&R Two Timer in the MM Diplomat Apple on the way over to my brothers for Thanksgiving dinner.
I brought some LJ Heart Virginia & the Lorenzo Atlante Chianti 513 bent sitter for the after meal smoke. Just reloaded the Lorenzo with more of the same, filled my glass with ice tea & kicking back watching Arrow.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with good food, friends & family!

Same to you and everyone. DR Two Timer would almost be a bulk alternative to Five Brothers, but it does seem a little bit too cigarette-y. I like it, but it's not a go to or a daily. Can't beat the price, though Please don'y tell me if you smoked fava beans in your Chianti

After the turkey dinner and all the carbs, er, uhm... I mean "all the fixins", I made my way up to the mancave as mentioned earlier. While enjoyin the RDF in the calabash I was admiring my handiwork on the recent Bent Bulldog project (I know, a little self congratulatory of me huh?) I couldn't help but notice how shabby the other briars, particularly their stems, were looking. So, a few polishing cloths, some stem polish & a bunch of elbow grease later I've now got the stable all standing tall and raring to go on some tobacco goodness. One particular pipe, a Roadtown Handmade Bent Bulldog with beautiful grain, was just beggin to be smoked. Being a gentleman and all, I obliged. Stoked er up with Esoterica Blackpool, got myself a nice fresh bottle of H20, sat down in the leather wingback chair, grabbed a match and.... Got a call from my Blonde to come join her for a movie. Being as the tobacco was pretty moist, by my standards anyway, I sat the pipe down in the stand and joined my bride for a flick. Movies over, Blondie is tucked in, and I'm back up in the mancave and... Wow! This is a fantastic smoke! In a beautiful briar, if I do say so myself.

A third of the way through this bowl of Esoterica Dorchester in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe. Watching The Adventures of Superman.

Great Minds - I just bought a second bag of that because of the mild top note being similar to Whitehall Black Tie. SPBC is a righteous smoke on it's own. Has better flavor than their Vanilla Cav

Skiff mixture in the Chadwick. Although I'm not American, my brother and sister organize a Thanksgiving dinner every year. I spent the afternoon baking and finally had a chance to sit down after dinner. My cousin slept over at my place and bummed a Peregrino (local brand) cigar.

Good to see you back, GRUMPY!
Hectic Friday at work. Black Friday as well, so I'm avoiding the shops.
ODF RR in a Buescher cob started my day. Now stepping outside for a quick bowl of Edward G Robinsons Pipe Blend in a MM Legend.
