England has embraced political correctness like no other nation on earth. I am a regular viewer of Sky News via the Roku and am constantly astounded at how 'sensitive' they have become.

It only makes sense when you decide to go with socialized medicine, resources get stretched, and those deemed to be careless about maintaining their health have to head to the back of the line....as the article states...you choose to enjoy food more than whatever the BMI parameters are?....pound sand. You choose to drink and you now have liver problems?....pound sand. You choose to smoke?....the vascoconstrictatory nature that nicotene presents, says that you would probably be careless during rehabilitation for the knee surgery... pound sand.
Not being political, it is just reality.

Knew a little about this a good while back, my wife's friend went to England and she was appalled that sometimes a simple procedure was years in being done, like get in line and wait. I told my wife reminds me of the service and it ain't gonna get better. No wonder when I had my radiation treatments, I saw people from all walks of the world waiting for treatment. We may not have the very best medical system but it ranks right up there.
