So as other forums have done, and as danno44 suggested months ago, here is our Official Pay it Forward Thread. The concept is simple, if you have any pipes, lighters, accessories, tobacco, etc. that you no longer feel you need or want, offer it up here. Let's be clear, this is not a TRADING thread. Do not offer something up if you are looking for something back in return, there is already a place for that. This is a free-- out of the goodness of your heart--place to offer up things which you no longer need. The general idea is that if you are the recipient of a Pay it Forward gift, somewhere down the road you will do the same for another, hence... Paying it Forward. A couple of simple ground rules: - Post your Pay it Forward Offerings, preferably with a photo and description.
- No trading, selling or doing "business"
- Do not ask for something that is not posted, this is not an "In Search Of" thread
- If you are interested in an item posted, PM the giver. The first person to send a PM should receive the item.
- Shipping cost should be paid by the person offering the item, unless otherwise specified or worked out between the giver and the receiver.
- When an item is spoken for, the giver of the item should note in the thread that it is no longer available.
All other forum rules should apply. Have fun, be generous and Pay it Forward.

Let's get this started with a small one. I have a unopened tin of GL Pease Jack Knife Plug that someone will enjoy way more than me. It is from January 2011. The only caveat is that I will not be able to ship it until this Saturday.

I will make available one of these pipe holders. If you like rustic stuff, this should work for you. (Pipe not included) grin... The caveat on this is that I need to FINISH it. Grin again...

2 one ounce Sutliff samplers (minus 2 bowls each) of Mulled Wine and a new offering called Blacksburg. Didn't care for the latter, and the Mulled Wine is bitey to my palate, but a few members here seem to like it.
1 tin (minus 2 bowls, Peterson University Flake (sent bagged to reduce postage costs). Tastes great, but a bit too strong for me.

Update The pipe holder is finished. I got the base installed, the whole thing sanded and Tung oil finish applied. Not bad for a bit of firewood I think. The upright is removable for shipping. So far, no takers. Pipe and matches not included. Shipping to US address only.
