I noticed this dent in one of my tins the other day and was wondering if I should go ahead and open it and jar the contents. I don't know how it could still be sealed with a dent like this on the lid.  |

Uusually you can tell if the seal is intact...If you have an open tin of the same type, compare it with the same type of tin that you know has a good seal....you should see that the lid is concave if it is sealed.
Of course if you cannot determine that way, I would open it and jar it.

Did it dent while you were trying to consummate with this blend?  If you want to be 100% sure, I'd just jar it up. |
