 Got this in my last P&C order. If you like aromatics you will love this. If you like fruit/berry blends this is gonna blow your face off. It was a little wet right out of the tin but I let it dry for a few and it smoked like a dream. I think I've found the subject of my next Scoundrel review. |

Dan makes a lot of outstanding blends. On the other hand Holly's Non Plus Ultra is to be avoided at all costs. It is, without a doubt, the most vile bland I have ever tried to smoke. It actually made my mouth tingle for an entire day. 2 bowls was more than enough for me to retire the remaining tin to the Hall Of Yuck section of my cellar.

Hehehe... I'm ashamed to admit it but I have a few jars of tobacco I don't care for much that are kept on hand for those friends who randomly decide that they want to try to smoke a pipe when they come over. These aren't "horrible" blends... just not to my liking. I have several corn cob pipes that I reserve for said visitors who want to try pipe smoking. Part of me feels guilty like I should be promoting the hobby better but usually I know the difference between the guys who just want to try it for shits and giggles vs the guys who actually are interested in smoking a pipe. |
