Anyone that is good with wood working please consider helping out. I was gifted a cane last year and the gentleman that carved my cane also carved me a pipe. Richard, the carver who did my cane and pipe, also carved a cane and pipe for fellow pipe smoker.
This is a great thing Jen has going on and if anyone is able to help out please do!

This is a Great Project ! Looked up the link hopefully to make it easier for others to get involved. I have given out two custom canes and modififed some for friends,never heard of this group before.But your walking stick is as personal as your pipe,you want that look and feel that says it's yours. www.jccanes.com/lean_on_me_project.html

Yes this is a great project. With the loss dexterity in my hands going it is difficult to carve. But with the equipment I have I should be able to do some interesting things. Since I have a small wood lathe interesting cane knobs can come out.
