No, not that menu. (Turkey or ham and all the fixins I'm sure)
What's on the Tobacco Menu?
Not being one who usually has a pipe in the morning, I'm enjoyin my coffee and trying to decide which pipes I want to sit out and which blends I want to enjoy throughout the day.
Thought I'd mix in my favorites along with those that have a nice room note for others to enjoy.
So, given my limited piping experience, I thought I'd ask my fellow BriarPatchers which blends seem to have the best room notes?
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Piping.

I am not a aro guy but Troutstream is very pleasant, I smoke it when I rarely accompany wife at Bingo, the Blue Hair Ladies crowd around us saying it reminds them of Dad or Grandpaw.

Sounds good Brad, but I don't have any of that. Is there another blend that has a similar note? One that I always seem to get comments on, when I'm lunting around the neighborhood, is regular old Black Cavendish. So, I thought I'd include that one in the mix for sure.

C&D King Cake has a delightful aroma that won't offend anyone. I may dip into it today as we're staying home due to illness (both of us).

I'm going to a cousin's house I haven't seen in fifteen or twenty years; don't know if there will be any smoking or not. They're all my South African relatives, my auntie I haven't seen in years will be there too. Most of them are vegetarians, so not sure what we'll be eating, and I'm hoping some of them drink. We'll see. I'll be taking LNF and LTF and some pipes, if he wants to try it. Pretty nervous about the whole thing. I asked if they were football fans (hoping to see the Cowboys at 3:30), and he thought I wanted to play football, didn't even know the Cowboys were on.
If I don't get to smoke, at least I'll have some snuff

Any aro is pretty inoffensive, Virginia blends tend to be pretty mild indoors also, if you have any Christmas cheer, after a Thanksgiving dinner, is a good time to kick off the season, and I am told that it has a pleasant room note.
If you have any Mrs. Kravitz types visiting, the mere sight of a pipe might cause irreparable harm.😉
I just got off the road, so we are doing Thanksgiving tomorrow.... headed to bed. while I am smoking the bird over cherry wood, I will be smoking lat blends outside.

I'm going to mention the food, as I just became aware of a nice one. Used to be we would have duck for holidays, sometimes capons. Hard to get delivered. Then we went to turkey for a few years, but for two of us we could never finish the leftovers for several days. Besides, to us, chicken works better. So, besides roasted chicken and stuffing, she made cole slaw, and will also be making Curry Chicken for variety. Willy the Gyp keeps looking on, trying to see what work is being accomplished on the counter top. I may finish the day with a rare (only in that I rarely drink) Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey... label to be decided later

Well, seeing the cousins and auntie I haven't seen in years was actually boring. There were about twenty people I'd never met and wasn't introduced to; I only talked to my two cousins, the aunt and uncle, and the single cousin's girlfriend. Everyone just spoke in platitudes. Did get to smoke a bowl of LNF in the back yard, but no one else wanted to. Drank one beer. No one was interested in football but me. Didn't get any real news, just how are you, oh I'm fine type stuff. Did my duty though; maybe if I see them again it will be better. Did not expect boring.

David, sometimes just being with your thoughts can be thankful enough, though I am partial to having furry critters around. Wife, of course. Thing is, I love seeing my family, or did when I was able, but for holidays? notsomuch. I put on Christmas Carols one Christmas and was told to can it. Anyone knowing anything about me knows I am liable to break into Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire in July. However, you got your bowl in. Be thankful for that... and Happy Thanksgiving from this David

It didn't suck, it was nice to see them and all, just surprisingly boring. Now that the ice is broken though, I won't mind seeing them again, and the food was pretty tasty.
