John, I have the diplomat in my pocket and have a pouch of Dunbar and a pouch of butternut burley in the other..and it is off to a local Christmas village evening with the family. |

I have to say this. I was halfway in and out mentally on getting these pipes. Lady Margaret gave me a custom one that I smoke and cherish. I have some other cobs. I did not have a Straight CG nor a diplomat like the one. What drew me to do it was it was a way to support the club, and the amount going to the club was quite humble. Many forums want 5-10$ a month to stay in. Not referring to pipe clubs. Having MM burn or ink the club design in there was great, too. This club is sort of family, and these pipes give me smiles this season.
Honestly, I just don't think I could have thought of a better way to get support and give something with it. I didn't think Smoking a pipe with Briar Patch on it would give me joy and pride, but it did.

Received my set this week. Very nice presentation box and pipes. Almost wish I bought 2 now to keep one as display to keep next to my boxed set of bent and straight MM corndogs.
Alas I am not a collector so I shall start the break in Of TBP Set soon.
Still can’t bring myself to smoke the corndogs, NOS Set is so rare I am torn to put flame to them. I’ve never seen another set like it, nor has any been sold on the bay that I can find.
