Since I have to really limit the amount of sugar I consume I'm not suppose to eat pie.My wife though who keeps a very close eye on what I eat allowed me to sneak in a couple of pieces over the week end.I have to fly right now though and be a good boy..At least until Christmas..If you're one of the lucky ones who can eat pie when you want to while you're enjoying your self think of us poor souls who only get to on very special occasions.

Hi , I know it's not the same but we use this recipe when my dad really wants a treat. You can even take out about half the suggested sugar (replace with a little cinnamon, cloves, and ginger per personal taste) and it still tastes pretty good. I'd suggest either eating them the day they are made, adding 2 tbs of butter, or replacing the butter with crisco (depending on your diet): www.thespruce.com/low-fat-holiday-sugar-cookies-2245912

Ok guys it is time this is brought to your attention. This is important to remember.
Cream Pies, Cakes of all flavors, cookies and any other baked.goods are NOT to be Eaten. They are made to given to our wives so they can be rubbed on their stomachs, thighs, button and any other place they desire. Then they will have a reason to complain and comment about their weight gain.
This is the same process that can be used for the items that are made from Ice Cream and all Dairy products.
As for candies that is an extension of the process to add the upper arms and calf.
You have now been told proceed with caution.

Type 2 diabetes here, so I know what you mean. I couldn't resist a couple of bites of some lovely pecan pie on Thanksgiving. My wife has a cheese cake recipe that is fairly low in sugar using lite cream cheese and Stevia. Way better than it sounds! Sugar free candy gives me the squirts, so I'm not a fan.

No sweet tooth to speak of, I can eat all I want, but never do so... I like salty snacks, go figure!
I do make blackberry cream pie, pecan pie, Ghirardelli brownies with nuts and without.... the family raves about them, but I rarely partake.
