I have two equal and opposite tin/pouch notes that I love: Condor Plug or RR Velvet (codger)
I often open these up in a devil may care attitude, disregarding any aging process I may have messed up. Condor is like opening up a jar of garlic pickles. Velvet like walking into a confectionery store while they are "confecting"

Too many to even count ... it's one of my favorite things in general. Been sniffing GLP Cumberland all day and it's heavenly. Motzek Strang is always a stand out for sure. So many tins, so little sniffing time. Lol

Forgot ... just sticking your head in a bag of Virginia whole leaf is lovely. Smells like fermenting leaves and squash in the Fall.

Dark Star. Even though it makes me think of Worcestershire sauce.

A new one this week is Sutliff's Barbados Plantation. Intoxicating aroma from the tin and bowl.

I cannot say a single tin, but opening drawers and cabinets in the cellar brings a cornucopia of heaven.
Like opening fresh coffee as opposed to smelling it brewed.... x10.

I find this hard to answer. Many moons ago when I was much younger my sense of smell was altered buy some of the work I did. And by some of the gals taking a bath in that stinky stuff.

It's not a tin note but I buy a few ounces of Balkan Supreme at my local shop every week and I keep them in my stashed in my closet till I jar them up. My closet smells like a delicious ashy campfire.

I couldn't pick just one tin note, there are a several that I'd consider favorites.
Aromatic tobaccos: McC Holiday Spirit & Nording Labrador - both smell delicious
Non-Aromatic: LBF, G&H Dark Birdseye & Dark Star/McC 2035 Dark Navy Flake - each have a distinct aroma that I enjoy

Okay, there are just too many goodies to narrow it down

University Flake is probably among my favorites. Great tin note! Everyone talks about plums and berries but, to me, once it's had some breathing time, there is a dark currant and unsweetened chocolate combo. Tasty stuff and thanks for the recommendation sparks.

Stonehaven - raisins and chocolate. Too bad it doesn't always deliver on that note.

Germain's Rich Dark Flake smokes truer to its tin note (immediately upon jar opening - slightly more pungent to my senses) than it's closest cousin, Stonehaven... the two being almost indistinguishable in tin note and flavor, as in a distinction with a difference; a difference with a distinction.
