With Edward G. Robinson's birthday coming up next week, I whipped another batch of my routine mix of EGR/Match Blue Boar - 6 scoops and 4 scoops, respectively. That it was the man's birthday and that he was born in Mittel Europa in the late 19th century all suggested to me that something a bit sweeter was in order for this celebration. So, throwing caution to the winds I added three scoops of my sitting 50/50 mix of Sutliff Vanilla Custard/Amaretto. Then I mixed the concoction real well. Am now smoking it in the Orlik Virgin 182 billiard. Liking it thus far, is all I can say. For me, a hint of Amaretto goes practically with everything. To make sure, another pipe awaits also filled with this four-sided mixture.

Happy December, all! This is my first post in God-only-knows how long...good to be back, scrolling through the posts. Enjoyed a bowl of 2015 C&D's Golden Days of Yore in a Savinelli Saint Nicholas Poker. Very pleasant smoke, with kind of a sugar-cookie note. Went well with hot chocolate! Hope all of you are well, healthy, and enjoying life. Sure is good to see you again. Now smoking year 1936 Briggs Mixture in a smooth medium bend 2002 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Watching Perry Mason. Thanks, Mr. Jim! Good to be back. I've been rotating between Golden Days of Yore, EGR, and Sutliff's Match Presbyterian...all jarred for two years. But yesterday afternoon I enjoyed a very pleasant bowl of Burley Light Without a Bite in a Calabresi Canadian. Good stuff!

I've missed being around, truth to tell, but you know how life goes. Things are starting to normalize, and I find myself here a bit more. Appreciate the greeting.

' Dayyy from Greece, as you have seen in hundreds of phtoso the coffee is the "necessary accompaniment" in my pipe smoking so take a look what created in the final step of preparation. This is not just another crema for coffee...this is coffee poetry! I fixed the tv-antenna on the roof so the wife's whimpering stopped and now calmly i enjoy Robert McConnell Latakia Flake while watching Vietnam war documentaries. Beautiful! Just beautiful!

Afternoon folks.
Finally finished up the majority of my work for the day. Been up to my eyeballs in the same document for about 2 weeks now, so it's nice to be done with it.
Loaded a bowl of my OJK mixture in a Scottie.

Been working from the home office since the old folks moved in, which has been challenging in some ways. Yet, I've been able to enjoy a couple of midday pipes instead of waiting until late in the evening...which has been pretty cool! Today I'm burning Edward G Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2015 Savinelli Saint Nicholas Billiard. Hot, black, Red Rose tea is on the side, and it really seems to bring out the lat in this blend. Happy Tuesday afternoon pipes, all!

Savinelli brunello in the RobE Dubliner with a root beer that tricked me on the side. Its henry weinhards root beer and at first glance I expected a more brewed than bottled root beer but this is just another factory product, at least it tastes good.

Thanks all. Xuan was talking about waiting a while. Then I said maybe we just won't get another. Then when I was on the phone to the shelter part of the Animal Hospital, Xuan asked if they had another dog like Willy. We may have Rajah by Thursday. Serenity. Sorry to hear about Buddy. The only thing equal to a good doggie is a dog lover.
Right now I am smoking a mix of all vintage Heine's, Hayword, and Brindley's mixture. They've been mixed for about a month now. Good thing I like it, as I have two pounds of it. Smoking in a Ukrainian Author. I cannot believe how smooth and mild this is.
