Just finished a bowl of Thanksgiving Day. Consoling myself after selling a guitar... Some lucky kid is getting a mint 2016 Gibson LP for Christmas. haha Sigh... Not sure what is going to be replacing it's spot in the collection yet. I really want a Martin, but I have also wanted a PRS for quite some time. Or maybe I'll put the money towards my school loans... Really sorry about your little friend, David. Hope you are doing okay.

I am smoking Briar Patch King's Ransom in the memory of Markos Botsaris, one of the most respectful person in the Greek Independence War of 1821 against turks. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markos_BotsarisIn Strasbourg they gave his name in a square, in Paris on a road and in a Metro station. Here in the Military Museum of France his weapons and his pipe. Yes, he was "one of us".

More of the Eddie G. Birthday Torte mix, this time in the still breaking-in Paul Menard (Paul's Pipes) squashed tomato. I wonder what Eddie G. would tell me if I presented him with this distortion of his namesake blend?

Special Latakia Flake in a Peterson Limerick 05. Flavored water on the side. This would be even better if I could figure out how to add a little bit of chocolate flavor to it. Great tobacco anyway.

Just finished smoking Esoterica Dorchester in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

Thanks again for the kind words. We're meeting a new doggie on Thursday. Xuan, who is always hesitant to get another doggie, told me today to call the shelter right away. We're hopefully getting a three year old. She originally wanted a pup, but the shelter and I told her an adult could use us more. Anyway, so it's Tears and Laughter, as Gibran said.
Smoking some Butternut Burley in The Lady Margaret Cob. I am not wearing matching underwear, though. Strawberry Crush is my drink

I'm smoking bayou morning in the RM Perkins Ballerina a sitting poker cherrywood dublon inspired beauty. Drinkinga Henry Weinhards Root Beer. Mr 3 had a meltdown at bed time and after letting him stew for a minute talked him back into calm quiet. Rotten bugger wanted a fight tonight, and it cost him his story. Mom said I'd have one just like me and oh lord was she right.

That is a compassionate thing to do. We did the same with Suzy and Molly, who were going to be put down the next morning. M'lady and I just couldn't let that happen. Relaxing after a wonderful spaghetti and meatballs dinner, and am almost half way through this bowl of Der Pfeifenladen #300 in an egg shaped medium bend smooth Burgundy colored 1985 Caminetto with a black acrylic stem.

Since I saw johnlawitzke 's posts earlier, I've wanted some ... Angler's Dream in the bent MM CG HW with a can of Dr Pepper. I've had several bowls of AD today. It just seemed to fit the cold blustery day here as high winds bring an end to our stretch of unseasonably warm weather with highs in the low 50s to normal weather with highs of 30, if we’re lucky. Just lit up some Court of St. James in my Ronny Thuner Freehand.
