Earlier I tried a bowl of 7 Seas Gold in a Peterson Tankard. It was just awful and got dumped. Then a bowl of Classic Burley Kake in a Peterson 47 Silver Mounted Army. Following up with Wilke Vermont Maple Cavendish in the same pipe. I bought this pipe new and I need to get serious about breaking it in. Petersons need a lot of breaking in, but it's always worth it.

I can't remember you smoking a Grabow in years. I do. I have the four I bought in the 1970s. I've been smoking Crooner in my first pipe, which is a Grabow, and has been smoked thousands of times over the past 43 years. And the pot is a pretty decent smoker once I sanded off the wax coating, and I bought it the first week of Jan. in 1979. A lot of Amphora Brown and SWRA have been smoked in it over the years. Also, ERR Match, though not as much, and only in the past three years when I don't have the aforementioned two blends open to smoke. Not far from finishing this bowl of Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front with a black vulcanite stem. This will end my smoking day. I don't know how I forgot about your first pipe being a Grabow. I'm smoking some of Darin's VaPer plug in a Merkur 2000 volcano.

Now smoking Tabac Manil Reserve du Patron in an undated (1970s?) unbranded straight paneled sandblasted Tanshell Dunhill second with a black vulcanite stem. This stuff burns a little too quickly. Pack it VERY tight. That's what I do to get more than a 50 second smoke

Pack it VERY tight. That's what I do to get more than a 50 second smoke I do that, but it still burns fast, and the pipe I smoke it in is a small pipe. Last smoke of the day is D&R Windsail Platinum in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite stem.

Birthday smoke in the birth year Dunhill. The tobacco of choice was St James flake. Cold weather here has really cut down on my smoking. Time to get the heater out and setup the garage. Enjoy that birthday, mate!
