Hi Wolfman , I get the impression you've been smoking this a lot recently; is it any good? Any comparable blends? This is, IMO, one of the best (darker) VaPers available. This is a very very highly recommended smoke. BUY 3 pounds of it now (it's currently (as of 12/20/17) 10% off, that does not happen too often). Any comparison to Dunhill Dark Flake? Smoking some now in an MM Legend with coffee on the side.

Good gentlemen and ladies.
I'll be taking a forum break for a couple of weeks while I travel to Namibia for some serious R&R which is much needed. May log in once in a while if I have connectivity.
Blessings to all and enjoy the festive season.
Do not fret, I'll be back.
Last of this pouch of Amphora Original in a MM Legend before the drive home...
Cheers Ant

Now smoking Peretti no. 8 Slices in a rusticated Savinelli bent billiard. Hi Wolfman, I get the impression you've been smoking this a lot recently; is it any good? Any comparable blends? I love it. It's a listed as a VaPer, but it's technically a VaPerBurley. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm told it's similar to Watch City no. 558.

Smoking oriental and latakia odds and ends in my old Savinelli full bent, on which i resurreted the tapered stem by splicing a fishtail into the taper. Interesting that the old remaining taper oxidized far faster than the new splice.

Frog Morton and another cup of tea. I bought some Lapsang tea because it sounded like the Latakia of teas- Turns out it is the 'undrinkable, burned-plastic, trash bag of teas'

Just finished running an errand as well as finishing this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Grape Nehi made with real cane sugar is my drink on this chilly, rainy day.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Director’s Cut in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe.
Stormy and his younger brother Bubba seem to be fighting for ground judging by the sounds I hear in the sky and the rain I see falling around us. The loser has to fry the eggs.

I'll fry them on my hands for you, Lit my pipe with a match earlier and burned a finger. Used a lighter for my next smoke and burned my thumb.
