Currently Anglers Dream (with a touch of OJK) in TBP CG which is finally broken in with the stem properly charred and no longer any “wood” burning taste at the end of the bowl. So both TBP POTY pipes now properly broken in.

Watching Perry Mason with Bette Davis subbing for Raymond Burr. Not a Perry Mason fan, but I don't see how that can work.

Had good friends from California over for the night. Most of my smokes were A&C cigarillos from Spain. After they left this morning I settled down for a nice relaxing bowl of Bosswell's Bear Blend in a Yorkshire full bent billiard and a couple mugs of Community coffee, neat.
Deciding now on my next smoke and getting ready to watch FSU @duke .

Afternoon, folks! I hope everyone had a merry Christmas. Just back early this morning from holiday traveling. I’m smoking my first pipe of G.L. Pease Key Largo in a slight bent Leonessa Briosa rusticated apple. Very smooth and I really love the cigar leaf right off the bat. I picked up a 2 ounce tin of this, GLP Jack Knife Plug, GLP Haddo’s Delight, the blue McClelland Anniversary Virginia, and Temple Bar from the B&M back home. Costs a lot more at the B&M but I love supporting my local shop. Plus, most of the tins are about a year old already so $5 extra a tin is alright on occasion. Hope everyone has been well. I wasn’t in a position to smoke a pipe while back home so I had Copenhagen Long Cut alongside.

Half way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Boylan's Root Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink.

Watching Perry Mason with Bette Davis subbing for Raymond Burr. Not a Perry Mason fan, but I don't see how that can work. Near the end of season six, Raymond Burr had some surgery and missed four episodes, so they had guest stars as fill in lawyers. Burr had taped cameos in advance of the surgery that kept him out of action for that time period.

I decided on C&D Virginia Flake in the MiniMeer. I really like the taste of this straight Virginia but I find the cube cut a little difficult to pack correctly. Ice water with bergs is my drink.

Relaxing after a tasty lunch, and am part way through this bowl of Wilke Dummerston in a 2015 smooth unfinished Savinelli 320KS author with a black vulcanite stem. This will finish my stash of this blend. Watching Branded.

I wasn’t in a position to smoke a pipe while back home so I had Copenhagen Long Cut alongside. I am happy when people hit the B&M's. Obviously, I can't. I do give biz where I really like someone. I have a permanent pipe discount at SP, but if Eddie at Pipe Nook has a model even close he gets my biz, as does WV Smokes. I can also pick up a few tins and now Codgers there at the same time. I will be taking a pic of my unfinshed this weekend. I took some olive oil and went over the briar. Turned into a rosewood or cherry color. For those who say briars don't absorb, this may prove them false. Glad you mentioned the cigar leaf. That saves me from trying KL

Haven't been smoking much lately. The pollution in my area is killing my lungs. The final smoke of 2017 was a bowl of Penzance. On Monday I will smoke another bowl of Penzance just to bookend the new year.
