Is usually my best smoke of the week, and today is no exception enjoying some Irish Flake in my Briar calabash with a meet insert.
I come off the road on Saturday mornings, and as I transition to my weekend, I go to bed early Saturday morning and grab a few hours nap. The rest of Saturday is generally one of relaxing and watching tv with the wife before I go comatose in sleep on Saturday night. Sunday mornings are all afresh, and even my sense of taste benefits. Good coffee, and the beautiful Sunday mornings in the Southwest are truly phenomenal.
Going to head to church with the wife, my 3 year old granddaughter called her “Papa”, and asked to go with me and take her out to lunch...I think we will go to the park and feed the ducks while I smoke my pipe and help build her memory base.

I miss going to church. Grew up Lutheran, but lastly Catholic. All sorts of stuff in between. Love them all. Even if I could handle a car ride I would not be able to sit up for that long. Hymns I haven't sung for 45 years come back to my mind verbatim, so that helps.
As to the first pipe of the week, there is a special feeling. Even though I haven't worked in 18 years I still feel the weekend is the weekend and Sunday is... duh Sunday. Enjoying my bowl as I type

I can picture that Sunday in my head, Charlie. Hope you have a terrific day.
Now you made me miss my Grandfather. haha If he wasn't in California visiting his sister at the moment, I'd call him up and take him out for lunch.

Have a great day, Charlie ... she'll certainly remember ones like those.
