And a very fine collection it is. I'm lucky enough to have 2 of Ron's pipes and will always treasure them.

Ron has a faithful following here from people with pretty discriminating tastes, that gallery drives it home.
4 of the 7 I lusted after when they came up for sale, all 7 are exquisite.

Excellent and if you ever tire of any of the Authors, I’d be happy to take them off your hands. I’m nice like that....

Happy Birthday, Peter!
What a Glorious fleet of briar. After five minutes of staring, I would say that Danish and the Morta are my favourites- Though I would willingly get hit by a car if it meant picking any of them up off the street. I need to stop buying factory pipes every month and saving up my cash in an effort to support the real artisans of our hobby.

Yeah... I lusted after them also.
I never handled any of Ron's pipes, but everything I saw would put him in the top 5 percent at the West Coast Pipe Show...somewhere between Ryan Alden and Tonni Neilsen.

And I feel very Honored that all that have purchased my pipes like them so much. I'm left speechless really and can't think of anything much to say except thank you all for appreciating my handy work as it is and hope all of you will be able to enjoy them for many years to come. And it's you kind of people (friends in many) that make me feel better about what I did. Maybe someday I'll return to the craft.......... Thank you all your all so very kind.

Well, that is some beautiful work by an artist. If the day does come Ron, when you get to play in the briar patch again (pun intended) I know you and we will enjoy it. If not, we will still enjoy your friendship and the pipes you did make. Good luck in all that comes...
