For me The best Quick Smoke pipes are the pony express pipes from MM.. just enough tobacco for a 20 min smoke for a quick drive or perfect amount to smoke outside in a blizzard before you realize how silly it is to be outside in your jammies and flannel rope and head back inside..

I have a small bowl Chadwick which I like for a quick smoke although it tends to clog-up after a single use. I used to have a pocket pipe which I mislaid somewhere and was a real hassle to clean. Living in Mexico, the weather is never the main issue but I do appreciate a quick smoke over a long one.

I have 2. A Savinelli Minuto and a SMS mini cutty Meer. Both are good for about 15 minutes. *Note, old photo neither have the softie bits any more.

I have a little meer that is good for 10 to 15 minutes. I thought that it was a lot bigger when I bought it. I was new to pipes and it was my first meerschaum. It smokes like a bigger pipe, just doesn't last very long.

I have a couple of Kirstens that provide a quick smoke,... I don't know if I could ever pull-off smoking a Kirsten; I'd be too afraid of attracting a different sort of smoking crowd.

That crowd is nothing to fear lol I've got a Cob or two that fill that need perfectly, a pride or a legend. If a five minute burn is called for I have a Vauhn/Vaun/ Wedge that never gets used because I don't do 5 minute Burns.

MM Eaton is a great short smoke pipe. So is the MM Mizzou. I think my favorite is the Stanwell Featherweight Canadian that was gifted to me.

That is a valid point. I guess the caveat is they are my 'quick smoke at home' pipes. I do not take them out in public for the same reason, though I am less worried about the different smoking crowd as I am increased interest from law enforcement.

I have a little Ropp Vintage sandblasted billiard I like for short smokes. I usually need a short smoke away from home. So a smaller straight billiard fit into a shirt pocket.

Totally agree; and as the former seems to attract the latter...
