Hello all. Was pointed here by the infamous billyklubb. I have been smoking cigars about 15 years and picked up piping about 5 years ago. Living in the heat of the desert I find that I tend to neglect my pipes in the warmer months but once it cools down I reach for them more. I favor virginia blends and rich englishes and typically shy away from aromatics with a few exceptions. I have a very strong DIY mindset. I roast my own coffee, I brew my own beer, I roll cigars (started as a hobby, now I work part time for a shop and do live rolling events), I blend pipe tobacco, and I just acquired a sausage stuffer to start making my own sausages at home. I look forward to the interactions.

Yeah, I was on FTT but I haven't been active on there in quite a while. I have the AZ pipe club site bookmarked now. I have quite a few things going on tomorrow so probably can't make it, but if I can break free I will be sure to stop in. I live in Gilbert so the meet up won't be far out of my way. |
