So, Peretti announced their Holiday blend, which will be the original Holiday blend from 1951 (blended by Robert Peretti, himself). Who has tried this tobacco? What are your thoughts? Is it a "foo-foo" tobacco (i.e. overly aromatic?). I do not get the feeling it is.
Finally, what is the flavor of this blend? I look forward to your thoughts.

If the Thanksgiving blend is any indication, I'm sure it is great. Thanksgiving Day is an odd kind of Aro. It tastes more like herbs and spices than a chemical topping.

Burley/Oriental and a touch of Va. What's not to like? I'd give t a whirl. They don't list what the topping is other than it's sweet.

headrott For what it's worth, I just bought the current Match Holiday (flavor is a little chocolatey) from P&C recently and it's less aromatized than PS Luxury Twist Flake. I've been told by older smokers that current flavorings are in general a lot less 'chemically' tasting than those used 20+ years ago.
