The catch? They have almost nothing! thepipeguys.com/ They do have a few Peterson 2016 Christmas pipes for $72, and I had a first-time customer code leaflet for another 10% of making them $65 each. I picked up the last 03 and B10. I think the 2016 is the nicest Christmas pipes Peterson has ever done. Other than clays and cobs, these are the first new pipes I've ever bought! They also have a small selection of McClelland tins and few others. But overall, they make P&C look very well stocked. |

$70 for a Peterson bulldog pipe and pipe cleaners at sixty some cents and fee shipping had to do it.
I missed the 10% off first time customer code..no big deal though with the prices.

I bought the last Peterson 999...I shopped on my phone and didn't notice that it came with a green stem...Sp has better pictures. I almost bought that one, but went for the 03 instead. I imagine we'll get our stuff. If it had been a scam, what would have been the reasoning behind feigning such a limited supply. I bought the allowed max number tins for everything I wanted.

Durbar not Durban....
Just rechecked the site....BJ Long pipe cleaners went from .63 cents per hundred to $1.10 per hundred.... I think they are unclear on what liquidation means?
I am thinking more likely they had an across the board 40% reduction programmed on all stock, and realized that didn’t work for pipe cleaners... I bought 20 at the cheaper price.

Mine are sitting at work, I will be getting them when I get there. Nothing said that all sales are final, nothing said that you would get what appears to be a refurb. Worst case scenario, you may be able to do a chargeback with the cc company. |

Their terms say returns must be within 14 days, but I don't really want to send them back without giving them the chance to make good. Or at least knowing they're still a somewhat functioning outfit and that someone is there to receive them and process the refund. I'm not trying to be picky, but these pipes retail at $140 - they shouldn't have a missing boxes, fills etc. And if that's why they were discounted, they should have said so. |

Mine was okay,except for a warped stem. The way it sits in my mouth is actually fine though. I tend to have my stems slightly canted to keep the pipe level when clenched, if that makes sense. If it was a full p iced pipe, I'd be angry, but I feel at a discount, it adds character to my first Peterson.
