I just read that she died from infection caused from a ruptured intestine....Many years ago I was in a shopping mall all of a sudden I was in so much pain that I thought I would go out of my mind.I was rushed to the hospital.It was determined that the lining holding my intestines in place had split and my intestine had popped through it and was trapped.It was blowing up like a balloon and ready to pop.They told me that if it wasn't fixed I only had minutes to live.After emergency surgery and a few days in the hospital I was OK.Reading about Patty reminded me of that day and how close I came to an early end.As I said that was many years ago and I haven't had anymore problems since.The memory of that night though always reminds me how fragile life is,and how quickly it can end.I see every day as a gift..I made a vow to myself back then that I would live my life so that when I'm gone no-one could say that I did them wrong..So far I think I've kept it.
