I am sure this is not the first post on this, but it is new to me. The oldest daughter sent some chocolates, which Xuan has taken control over. While she was doing her exercises this morning I had my first bowl of pipe. Had some lat in it. Afterwards I thought about those chocolates and went to her hiding space. She's not very original. I could not believe how good the chocolates tasted on top of that tobacco. They sort of melted into the lingering nic on my tongue and sent a nice mudslide down my throat.
So, two questions:
Anyone else notice this?
What other morsels of goodies go with or after tobacco?

A Hershey Bar, before or after a bowl of Carter Hall, is a Patriotic Pleasure.

I eat candy before/whilst/after smoking all the time, I really like orange wedges with Comoy's Cask 4 (I'm guessing it has to do with the Virginias), Lengua de Gato (a really soft skim milk chocolate common in Central Mexico) with stronger vapers, and Tamborcitos (sweet/sour candy) with Skiff....mmm, Skiff. The lady that runs my local tobacco store pairs unsalted peanuts with cheap cigars.

I too love chocolate after a pipe. Dark chocolate works wonders, especially after a Lat heavy blend.

I prefer aged scotch... but then again, I don't have a sweet tooth. I'm more of a savory person, but in the presence of the deadly cane sugar I break stride. I love an aged Scotch, but more, Japanese Single Malt and Johnnie Walker Double Black. All of which pale in comparison to beloved Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

I notice it at camp. Mainly because I am always eating while there and usually smoking a pipe at the same time. Anyway, all junk food tastes good with some smoke on it. In fact I've said on more than one occasion back in high school that BBQ chips, chocolate milk, and a Camel went together better than anyone could imagine. haha Funny this reminded me of that. You can all guess what I'm doing with my Saturday. haha
Also, Hershey's, Ruffles', and Pepsi
