I've already started a thread about the birth year (1964) Dunhill Root Briar Billiard my bro sent me, who had never heard of a 'birth year' pipe, and didn't even read the engravings to know what it was, only that it was a Dunhill. Pretty sure I win this thread; sorry everyone   |

Got a great travel set complete with a new pipe... Feelglad is the name on it... pipe gets a little warm but it’s very nice, I’m enjoying it! Broke it in with some Altadis Honey and Vanilla ✌️

I treated myself to some John B's estate pipes. They come in as clean of condition as I've ever seen. He gifted me the Sloop John B Poker, but I bought a second one. I am thinking of a couple more if he gets back to making them. Some of the best smoking pipes I've had.
James (Brother 6, Scroogie) gifted me the Shakespeare Meer, which I posted about in December smokes.
A few weeks ago WV Smoke Shop switched (they asked first) a Yellow Bole slight bed billiard. I loved it enough and when Dustin and (I think) Bonanza went on about a Grabow Royalton I went back to WV, picked up one of those and another Yello Bole. Could not beat the price. I won't buy Brylon again. Smokes nice, but hot.
Lastly, I had been trying to get a morta. was not to be. Placed a low bid on a Bulldoggie, which panned out. Will be the nicest Bulldoggie in the harem.
I never intended any PAD, but I guess it happened.
At some point I may actually spend some large bucks for an artsy fartzy pipe, but not in the near future

I made out pretty well. That is to say that I spoiled myself. I got the forum pipes from MM, a new Grabow Royalton, and a 2016 Christmas Peterson from the floundering ship that was Pipe guys.com. Peterson and Grabow are now two of my finest smokers. The cobs look so nice in the box, I think I'll leave them on display for a month or so.

I "won" a Dunhill tamper that I have wanted for years on Christmas afternoon. LoL! The catch is that it's coming from Russia from a seller with zero feedback so it might be a holiday "miracle" if it ever shows up!  |
