Running low on Skiff. I talked to the people at Smokingpipes and they suggested I try either Pease Meridian or Stokkebye Oriental Supreme. I read tobaccoreview articles but am wondering if anyone who's tried them could provide a comparison of the two. Thanks in advance.

Reload, as this SV Chocolate is quite decent. Consistent good chocolate flavor from top to bottom and surprisingly, has a near dry finish. Who woulda thunk it?

I read tobaccoreview articles but am wondering if anyone who's tried them could provide a comparison of the two. Thanks in advance. Skiff and oriental supreme are different animals in the same family. Both are great, but I like skiff a shade better as its a little more even keeled where oriental supreme will have major flavor differences between oriental driven amd latakia driven flavors. A pound of skiff is nearly double the cost of a lb of oriental supreme. Most of the skiff I've smoked is near 2 yrs old based on the sg date code, while the oriental supreme is undated and bulk only. On topic I found my open jar of luxury bullseye flake and am burning two coins in the RM Perkins calablin a monster hunk of clenchable briar that I don't smoke nearly often enough. Cheerwine stolen from JimInks stash to wet the whistle.

Captain Black in my Grabow Royalton. I'm going on record here: If this pipe and this tobacco were all that the hobby had to offer, you'd find me 30 years from now smoking just this. So good. It's like the double cheeseburger and fries of Pipesmoking.
