Lunch was salmon cakes topped with sauteed red onions, jalapenos and lemon juice. Now smoking McClelland #2015 in a blasted 1/4 bent 1999 Savinelli Collection acorn, drinking ice tea with lemon and hoping to go for a walk this afternoon if it'll stop raining.
mmmm. salmon cakes sound delightful. i haven't had any in a coon's age.
though the sun is shining it is spitting rain intermitently. i managed to smoke one pipe, sitting under the eave. MM Twain with VA Spice. Sipping water.

Had to get up early and take Blondies car to the Mazda dealership in Fayetteville for the airbag recal. Afterwards I found my way to Ansteads. www.ansteads.com/Picked up a tin of Peterson's Balkan, a couple oz of EMP and some pipe cleaners. While there I enjoyed a Hemmingway and a few cups of joe. Got back to the casa, found my way up to the mancave and am now 1/2 way through a bowl of EMP, sipping earl grey.

I just ordered some of that. It sounds like it is different than the more generic Natural Cavendishes, but it's worth a go, since they put out the cheaper value brands

David: think you'll like it. Sold out once since its recent introduction and that's always a good sign. I have reordered it 3x. I especially like Sutliff Natural Cavendish in a cob. Enjoy.

Well, you are one of my trusted reviewers on SPC, so I'll take that as an I didn't make a mistake. That PeterD smokes it says something, too. This Sweet Cask is turning out to be a good buy as well.

Well, this seemed logical: Sutliff #10 Nat Cav in a Morgan cob, fitted with a longer stem. More java fills the mug. Cheers.
