just popped a 12 year old, black & orange tub of Sir Walter Raleigh in a Country Gent cob. A bit dry (but isn't it always)? Pretty 'durn' smooth and tasty. Keep the embers burning.

Supper was homemade pizza with spinach, mushroom, archichoke hearts, black olives and jalapeños for toppings. I used red pepper seeds, basil pesto and minced garlic to jazz up the sauce. Now smoking Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth 1/4 bent New Era GBD 549 bulldog, drinking ice tea with lemon and watching the nightly PBS news line up.

David: think you'll like it. Sold out once since its recent introduction and that's always a good sign. I have reordered it 3x. I especially like Sutliff Natural Cavendish in a cob. Enjoy. Well, you are one of my trusted reviewers on SPC, so I'll take that as an I didn't make a mistake. That PeterD smokes it says something, too. This Sweet Cask is turning out to be a good buy as well. ...It is pretty good...can burn a bit hot, so puffing slowly is advised...

Match Holiday in the Dunhill. I've been gravitating to the Dunhill more and more lately; I feel like it brings out more of the aroma and flavor of lots of blends over a bunch of my other pipes. My pasta supper wasn't anything worth bragging about, may have to see if I can crash @10furlongs dinner table next time.
