Greetings fellow pipe club members, we trust that you made it through the holidays having created good memories with family and friends...for us working stiffs, the next holiday break isn't until Memorial day....Egads! Well, a good day to kick of the next year is to join up with fellow pipers on the 13th, which is consequently, the same day that Johnny Cash recorded "At Folsom Prison" back in '68, so it sounds like as good of reason as any to light up a pipe and hang out together...The social media side of the pipe club has generated some new contacts, mostly through Facebook...if you do have a Facebook account, please "like the page", each new "like" increases our exposure, as does "liking" our website from your Facebook page. www.azpipeclub.com/www.facebook.com/azpipeclub/The pipe club meeting typically starts at 1 PM, I will be getting there at noon because I have to cut out early...my son and daughter in law bought the wife and I a murder mystery dinner date scheduled for 4:30 on the 13th, but plenty of people I am sure will stay later.
I hope to see you all there, dressed in black or otherwise. Warmest regards, Arizona pipe club

Glad you made it down Darin!
Someone asked me about Brown Bogie composition at the meeting, and I said it was Virginia and perique... I guess I had Strang on the mind.
BB is dark fired Kentucky with Burley and Indian leaf.... but I added some St. James Perique in a really small batch... makes a great smoke!

Charlie, tried the BB last night..... Fantastic! Thank you. You are welcome, I figured that would appeal to the cigar smoker in you. Glad that I received that last week, they are out now, if you think you want to order any you might want to click on the “notify me when in stock” tab. As I said, I believe that the USA is the only place where bulk tobacco is sold, and domestically, SP is the only place I have seen Brown Bogie in the 550 gram bag. www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/gawith-hoggarth/Happy-(Brown)-Bogie-Unsliced/product_id/3993/bulkBy the way, it was $62.82 when I purchased it... in the past I got it for $55.00.
