Nice being able to get out in the yard and smoke a pipe in the morning again as some beutiful weather roles through the state. I've been smoking a pipe for some years now but only recently have ventured away from the Captain Black style tobacco's and into the world of the more premium grades and have been enjoying every bowl! Originally from Michigan and have lived in Arizona 23 years now. One wife, two dogs the size of large rats, I enjoy good guns, good whiskey, knives, books and reading. I collect all types of different things...if it isn't one thing it's another....I need more pipes and pipe smoking items.

Sitting outside while the wife is shopping... the snowbirds from Canada, Montana, Illinois, Dakota’s etc... are all out in force.
Funny thing is, if you don’t see their license plate they proudly have their Nebraska, Canada, Illinois shirts on.... proud to show that they are from elsewhere but... I guess reinforcing that being home at this time really isn’t all that attractive.
76 degrees!😎

Excessive wind didn't make for good pipe smoking weather this evening and had to switch to a cigar. I don't enjoy smoking in the wind..guess I'm spoiled.

I'm enjoying a My Father's Flore de las Antilles at The Fox Cigar Lounge in Scottsdale tonight waiting on a late airport pickup. I'm happy I'm not the guy on the plane.

The Fox Cigar lounge is a nice place!...And good place to bring the person back for a drink after the plane ride. Better yet, Uber them to the tobacco shop!😉 The Fox Cigar lounge in Gilbert is just a couple miles from my house, they really know how to do it right. Great furnishings, full cocktail bar with dozens of beers on tap, extensive list of craft beers, and an attentive staff. Only a few Drew estate tin offerings last time I was in there. I have never made it to Fox’s/ Scottsdale. One thing that they did right was smart one whole side of the humidor all glass, and it faces the smoking floor, and bar. It seems to me that it would have a shoplifting deterrence factor and free up staff from having to patrol the humidor.
