The shape name is horn, and I love them. Note the curves are subtly continued up the stem.

Oh, dear. Definitely not as ugly. But close. Now, those bottom 3 are great. My kind of pipes. I couldn't imagine fiddling as long as it would take to make that top one. Gotta be in love with the process to persevere like that.

That certainly is a beautiful pipe Maragaret...anyone would be proud to own it.
That horn is a beauty also, but some of them pipes, especially highly coveted by some of the Japanese makers are too outlandish for me.
