Remember in the 80s when Japan was going to own New York City? Since then they have been to the brink of collapse and are slowly coming back.
Every new manufacturing job in the states is a monumental plus. How many years have both foreign and domestically held concerns been fleeing for more friendly havens?
We can all argue the semantics, but redeveloping our base is a huge (yuge?) thing.

I remember in the 80s when Japanese markets went into the deep freeze but never worried about them taking over New York City. False narrative that one. 

I hope socially responsible corporations like Toyota continue to expand here.

I may be wrong, but I think the point of that (since you want to bring it up) was that PSF wants only original content, not cut and paste blah blah that ends up on every pipe forum in the webiverse.

And yes, though you didn't ask me - I am bitter about getting shitcanned for a vague, minor issue that was never even explained to me, with no warning, no communication at all, no opportunity to explain, no replies when I tried, and no access to my 2 or 3 years of PMs which had a lot of information and contacts I wanted to keep. I contributed quite a bit of original content, without regard to f-ing post count, but was unceremoniously banned nevertheless.  I don't think there's much disputing that it is just a shitty, low-arse way to run a forum.  Every pipe forum on the web has PSF ban stories by bewildered, disgruntled former members to attest to that fact, and it's the only one with that reputation.
