The den in my house is my smoking room.My wife who smokes cigarettes has put up with my pipes all these years. Occasionally though she reminds me that she's just not all that crazy about the smell of my tobacco. In the past she described it as such things as burning rubber, and rotten, potatoes and dirty socks.Today she came up with a new one.She walked through the den.I was smoking 1-Q She said it smells like sewer gas.I just don't know what's wrong with that girl.

I may be able to help if you're bold? I mixed up a burley based aro a few years ago when there was a bulk C&D sale. It gets rave reviews for room note. Shoot me a PM with address if interested.

With my aro's, CBRM 1Q CB LL Dark Red and such, I'm allowed to smoke anywhere in the house. Some orientals are acceptable if she's feeling somewhat normal,no headache.Lat blends have to be in the front room where there is better ventilation and cigars are outside only. My wife's descriptions are usually graphic like "TAKE THAT ****ING **** OUT OF HERE". Not really, but it amounts to the same when I have to got in the cold for a good stick.

Best room note remarks I've gotten were for Luxury Twist Flake and the worst were for 50% Kentucky Club 50% Yule Log. In any case the people in my life are bothered much more by the accumulated smell of tobacco over several days than whatever it is I'm smoking. I don't know if this happens to others as well?

Hehe, I was hoping for a less drastic solution. Please tell me you've actually tried this recipe.

My lady is verry particular about the smell of my pipe smoke. She absolutely hates aromatic room notes. Anything I think smells like caramel candy or fruity makes her tell me to get away but she loves my plain old burly blends. It's fine with me cuz anything that smells like candy tastes like burning electrical wires to me.
