It just got through snowing 7 inches in my neck of the woods.Pretty unusual here in Carolina. Most things are closed including many of the roads. It's supposed to get down to 12 degrees tonight. That means ice on the roads early tomorrow morning. The good news is it's supposed to start warming up tomorrow so it will be gone in a couple of days..Just to make me feel worse.I was watching a car auction tonight taking place in Arizona. The announcers were talking about how warm it is there and that folks who have a lot of snow should stay inside where it's warm and safe. Like I need them to tell me that.

We got about eight inches of snow here. Beautiful stuff, but I'm staying inside.

Only 2 inches almost here in southern middle TN. Might as well be 1ft. Shut down about everything.

Almost no snow here in Denver this year. Very dry. It sucks.

74 degrees forecast for Gilbert Az. today.
When I get home, I am going to fire up the smoker for some ribs, crack a beer and soak up some sun... I need some tanning maintenance.

We only had a light dusting of snow Tuesday night. Then again, I'm in SE Louisiana and it's not supposed to snow down here.

I have empathy for those dealing with and driving in snow, ice and the even more treacherous, black ice. When you are not use to it, everything you took for granted goes kittywhampus. Drive safe and though it has been said a million times, slow down

so, we had a rough weekend -- stranded out of town -- so when we got home on Monday hubby decided he was calling in sick on Tuesday to recover. It started snowing in the morning but wasn't bad. By 1:30, though, we decided it was time to stay home, so we picked up some goodies at the store, went home and had dinner. Got an email from a coworker that evening that everyone in his office had been told to stay home on Wednesday, and we weren't complaining. Didn't get a lot of snow, maybe 6 inches, but our road crews don't really keep up on the roads (other than the interstate)
