Another resurrection... but another good one!
Coffee in the afternoon. Room temp water almost any other time. Occasionally I'll have an Arnold Palmer.
Cigars - Root Beer or Dr. Pepper.

I'm going to have to try that root beer or dr. Pepper thing. I do see quite a few guys at the cigar shop drinking dr. Pepper

I forgot who suggested it to me but it works really well at bringing out the flavors. It has to be ice cold though.

Tea (all sorts), coffee (hot or iced), cold water, cold seltzer, cold cola. Really, I'll drink just about anything with a pipe. Except milk. That's gross, IMO. I have a friend who likes milk and pretzels. Yuck. Oh wait, I think Paddy likes milk with his pipe. I can't do that though.

Plain water, hot or cold coffee or herbal tea.
A few times I have had a bit of Bulleit Bourbon in a glass and tumbler full of ice water. I rarely drink though so this has been about twice I've done this in six months or so.

Prefer coffee but often now just plain old water.
PS Once in a while a good beer

I'm not much of an morning or early afternoon smoker, mostly in the evenings and almost always outdoors and depending on the temp. Thant said I'll have ice water, one of my go to bourbons, and definitely Guinness Stout . I haven't tried coffee yet but it sounds like its in the top tier of choices. Need to give it a shot.

Kind of depends on the tobacco, my mood, and time of day. But generally speaking: Coffee: goes great with any tobacco, and is included in all the more specific choices below. Balkan: If in the mood, I like having a scotch, or tea. English (Lat forward): I also like with a good bourbon, brown ale, stout or black tea. VaPer or Virginia: Black tea, green tea, whiskey or whisky, light beer (larger, IPA). I usually like to hydrate, drink water, before I smoke. Or will take a short break from smoking to drink a glass of water. Sipping water while I smoke always felt like I was 'watering down' the flavor of the tobacco. I mean, I do enjoy lemon or cucumber infused water; but have yet to acquire a taste for smoke infused water. Where as I thoroughly enjoy a smokey scotch.

I sure wish I could afford to drink alcoholic drinks. Living on SS really puts a damper on the fun things in life. Heritage wine with my Penzance That's funny right there. I've never had wine with my pipe. I can see some varieties of wine being a good pairing with certain blends. I'll have to try some. For me, by far, my favorite beverage with my pipe is black coffee. Plenty hot. No cream. No sugar.

Coffee in the morning, ice tea after that.

Iced tea is number one by a wide margin. Often it's coffee with an early bowl. Some blends are great with milk.

For myself, the choice varies according to circumstance and time of day. You? Same as you but my go toos are coffee in the morning and usually peach tea throughout the day I don't smoke at work what if I did it would be Peach sparkling water
