This should have been posted last night, but my wi-fi was on the fritz:
A little on the late side as I went to see Eric Johnson at the Aladdin Theatre in Portland, Oregon earlier and it was absolutely fantastic. He played with the same band (27 years ago) that played on Ah Via Musicom and Kyle Brock and Tommy Taylor are both excellent. It goes without saying that Eric Johnson Is always excellent. Also, a younger woman named Arielle opened for him and I highly recommend her music!
Anyway, i am about to light up some G&H Dark Birdseye in the Stanwell Sterling 401 pipe with some Basil Hayden bourbon along side.

Felt like something a little different than a virginia blend, so I am lightly drying out some McClelland Drama Reserve as it's been about 4 or 5 months (at least) since smoking it, I am smoking it in the Vauen Tivoli 141 pip, and I am drinking some Georgetown Bodhizafa IPA along side.

They did an episode at one of my favorite places in Flagstaff called Salsa Brava. Gotta get up there and visit soon! I'm enjoying a vodka drink and smoking some of Haebar's whole-leaf blend while drooling over that Cavicchi posted above. Very hard not to drool over some of the food you see in Guys shows. I'm always saying OMG! We ate at Salsa Brava in October. Busiest restaurant I have ever seen. They have an interesting menu. I had what Guy had according to the menu. He and I have very different tastes. Still, definitely worth a visit if you are in Flagstaff. I suggest some time other than Friday or Saturday night. |

First late morning smoke is Amphora Original in the Paul's Pipe Shop Cayuga, an oil-cured billiard with saddle stem, in Algerian briar.  To be followed by more of the same in the Ropp Superior bulldog in Algerian briar.  |
