Got as far as the back porch and saw my tin of C&D Cumberland ... nuff said. That oil change can wait and I might just grill up some steaks first.

Steaks, Black-eye peas and yams with a side salad. This will, of course, have to be followed by another smoke. Then, maybe, that oil change can happen.

I think changing the oil was all talk and, subconsciously, I never really planned on getting it done ... I love it when a plan comes together.

Breaking in a MM "Cobsby" with some C&D Shandygaff. The pipe just arrived today from Aristocob.com: "The Pony Express pipe can be converted into an interesting pipe that has become a bit of a Youtube sensation as the Bing Crosby inspired "Cobsby" by simply swapped out the stock "Royal" bit with the "Slim" bit."

Sutliff: #10 Natural Cavendish in a Comoy's Pebblegrain #184 bent Apple. Cranberry* juice on the side. Cheers.
* David: the acidity level doesn't bother me. I eat cranberry sauce 3-4 times a week and drink cranberry juice daily. I regard it as an unrecognised super food. If they made Cranberry ice cream, I'd eat that too. Its' benefits as a kidney stone preventative don't hurt either.

Finishing up the last bowl of Black House in this tin and heading out to pick up some beer. Not really in the partying mood, but I told a few friends they could come over tonight.. I think I'll get something dark and thick. Maybe a brew with some coffee or chocolate to it.

Hello, smoking the best Gawith.Hoggarth&Co. tobacco ever made, dark plug rose geranium in this BST. Have a great day, enjoy them smokes. Beautiful grain, beautiful pipe. Reading Alfred Dunhill’s book “The gentle art of smoking” has really opened my eyes on how many blocks of ebauchon that a pipe maker has to go through to find an exquisite piece.
