Figured I would share a few tricks for using the forum. I will post these as they come to me. There are a ton of features and I can't remember half of them at the moment. Be sure if you have any questions to send me a PM, or start a thread in the Help Center.

It is important to note that the Active Threads widget in the middle of the home page is just what it says. It lets you see what threads are active and will bump the most current one to the top. Hmm, brilliant. What it does not do is provide a "new" notification next to it so that you can identify if you have read it or not. That functionality is just not available, sorry. Hmm, not so brilliant. I'm hoping in the next version of the software, they improve this.
You will find two other options for checking activity though. First is the "Recent Threads" in the navigation bar. This will provide a "new" notification next to a thread when it has been updated. Additionally, on the right just below the navigation bar, you will see a button that says "Participated". This will show a notification when there is a new response to a thread you have participated in.
User Tagging
When typing a reply in a thread, you can tag a member. If you hover over the members name in their mini profile, you will see a member name with an @ symbol. If you type that, it will tag the member and notify them they have been tagged in a post.
